A Chicago-area native, Dr. Solotke earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from Yale School of Medicine and Yale School of Management. He completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, where he received honors for clinical excellence and teaching.

Dr. Solotke practices the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology, including pregnancy care from pre-conception to postpartum, contraception, menopause, management of gynecologic concerns such as PCOS and painful periods, preventive health maintenance, and surgery for conditions such as fibroids, ovarian cysts, and bothersome bleeding. He believes in empowering patients through education, honest conversations, and a shared decision-making approach rooted in evidence-based medicine and respect.

Dr. Solotke has completed advanced training in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, holding multiple certifications and having attended national conferences focused on surgical innovation. He is passionate about using the least invasive techniques possible to help patients recover faster and feel their best sooner.

Since 2016, Dr. Solotke has also been deeply engaged in LGBTQ+ healthcare, contributing to clinical care, research, and medical education. His efforts have been recognized with multiple national awards. He is skilled in gender-affirming hormone therapy and gender-affirming gynecologic surgery, and his goal is to provide welcoming, affirming care that respects each patient’s identity and goals.

A dedicated researcher, Dr. Solotke has authored over 15 publications in leading medical journals on topics ranging from complex gynecologic and obstetric care to LGBTQ+ health and medical education. He has also presented his work at national meetings across the United States.

Outside the office, Dr. Solotke enjoys playing musical instruments, reading, running along Lake Michigan, and exploring Chicago’s vibrant restaurant scene.
